CGA Integration was responsible for the design and fitting of an installed sound system at Gordon Ramsay's new restaurant in London's East End.
Called Bread Street Kitchen, the 250-seat venue's new sound setup features 20 ZX3 loudspeakers from Electro-Voice, three CPS8.5 Class D amplifiers with RCM-810 remote control modules, and a NetMax N8000 digital matrix controller.
The latter can be operated via PWS-4 wall panels, making it possible to regulate the volume and tone in each of the restaurant, wine bar and reception areas.
The project saw the location being divided up into seven acoustic zones in order to address challenges posed by very high ceilings, a monopoly of hard surfaces, reverberation, noise emission bylaws and - not least - the restaurant's opening hours.
